Jean Brihaye Scholarship

Call For Candidates

The Jean Brihaye Scholarship will be awarded during the European Congress of the EANS in Glasgow, September 2007.

The scholarship of approximately €11 000 will be awarded to a European Neurosurgeon under the age of 35 as at 1st September 2007 for an unpublished scientific project in the field of neurosciences related to neurosurgery. The manuscript will not be more than 20 A4 sheets of double spaced typing and will be submitted as one original and 8 copies to the Secretariat of the EANS, at 60 Cobden Avenue, Southampton SO18 1FT, together with the candidate's curriculum vitae, a list of published work and details of previous work in the same field as the proposed project.

The candidate must be a member of his/her national neurosurgical society which itself must be a fully paid up member of the EANS.


Deadline: 15th March 2007

The decision of the scholarship committee is final and no correspondence regarding its decision can be entered into.
